2024 Peer Pwer Self-Advocacy Summ

We are happy to announce The 2024 Peer Power Self-Advocacy Summit! The Summit will take place in-person in midtown Anchorage, Alaska on Friday, April 26th to Sunday, April 28th, 2024. This year's event will focus on empowering individuals from all corners of the state. Be inspired by your peers to energize the movement of Advocacy to the I/DD community.

In order to attend this Summit you must be at least 18 years of age or older, have an Intellectual and/or Developmental Disability (I/DD) and be interested in advocacy. (Not all applicants will be selected to attend due to limited space available).

Deadline for application registrations is Friday, March, 15th, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Please make sure you apply as early as possible, this event is on a first come first serve basis.

For selected attendees coming from outside the greater Anchorage Area funding will be provided for airfare/transportation, food and hotel accommodations.

There will be a fee to attend.

$15 for members and $30 for non-members.

Attendance and membership costs $25.

All selected attendees are expected to be present during the summit hours of:

Friday, April 26th - 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Saturday April 27th - 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m

Sunday April 28th - 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
